Senior ServiceNow Software Consultant

A Senior ServiceNow Consultant provides guidance to our customers related to the processes they are attempting to model and automate in ServiceNow and develops those solutions for the customer’s ServiceNow environment.

  • Design, integrate, deploy, operate, and maintain ServiceNow and its capabilities including, but not limited to, form configuration, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting and third-party software integrations

  • Work with customers to understand business requirements, then translate those into technical requirements

  • Provide analysis of problems and possible solutions

  • Develop installation, configuration, and deployment methods including scripting, use of APIs, orchestration, automation, and database services to support the integration and configuration of the applications and security technologies

  • Work with customers to design solutions and improve data quality, security, and compliance and extend current capabilities and offerings to customers

  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies

  • Implement new functionality for customers while using ServiceNow best practices

  • Develop and maintain detailed installation documentation

  • Create technical documentation, diagrams, guides, schedules, and other deliverables to support internal and external users.

  • Provide tool operations and maintenance support and act as the subject matter expert

  • Provide mentoring and support to other team members


  • 5+ years experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of an ITSM tool.

  • 5+ years experience in ServiceNow development experience should include scripting, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration, and deployment; specifically, candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications

  • Additional experience with ITOM, ITBM, Service Portal and Service Catalog

  • ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, SIR, SAM, APM certifications or equivalent work experience

  • ServicePortal experience
